Images from a splendid, picture-perfect and jaw-droppingly scenic lunch at Sierra Mar the day following dinner.

A light start to the meal. OK, if not exactly light, then at least it was right. Lamb risotto meatball fritters with porcini jus.

Crisp Caesar, with just the right anchovy punch. Plus succulent chicken with charred skin and a bit of bone remaining, just like I love it.

So much for good intentions to opt for "healthy." Ahi tuna salad, with hearty amounts of sesame oil, sesame seeds, and fried wonton skins. It was covered with a delicate embellishment of sunflower sprouts, and sitting atop a teensy bit too much mayo.

Hot from the oven chocolate chip cookies cooled by homemade caramel ice cream.
